Jerry Platte of Lansing struggles to keep his stein hoisted during a round of the stein hoisting contest during The Little Fleet's third annual Oktoberfest on Saturday in Traverse City. Contestants had to hold a stein full of beer with an outstretched arm for as long as possible. The event also featured bands, special beer steins and Bavarian-inspired food truck dishes.
