CAREGIVER OF THE YEAR

Esther Tabberer, left, a Certified Nursing Assistant with BrightStar Care of Northern Michigan, is surprised with the 2019 Caregiver of the Year Midwest Region award on Tuesday by owners Sharon Zimmerman and her husband John (not pictured) along with colleagues and her family. Tabberer, who has been with the company since 2010, was chosen by the national corporate office through testimonials from clients and their families, and will travel to Milwaukee in October where the national winner will be announced from the four regional winners. "Esther is the perfect example of a loving and dedicated caregiver," said one of the testimonials from her clients.
