THIRTEENTH HOUSING
Record-Eagle/Jan-Michael Stump
Andy Chadwick of A and R Flatwork and Poured Walls prepares concrete forms for foundations on one of the new houses being built on Thirteenth Street between Wadsworth and Pine Streets in Traverse City. Twelve 1,500-to-2,00 square foot homes with two-car garages are planned for the site by Cornerstone Affordable Homes, which purchased the 1.8 acre property from Traverse City Area Public Schools earlier this year. Cornerstone co-owner Roger Send said they planned to build four homes this fall, four early next spring and four next summer to have the project completed in 18 months.
