Dave Scherf, left, and Mitch Petprin, both of Kaleba and employees of Christmas Decor, hang Christmas lights outside of the City Center Plaza on East State Street on Wednesday. Scherf and Petprin said they will hang about 7200 lights at that location, and that they started hanging lights as far back as Sept. 29 to try and beat the weather. "We have a Christmas deadline," Scherf said. "We try to stay ahead of the game."
