CIVIC CENTER TRAIL

Lisa Taylor, Dave Taylor and Ty Schmidt run along the new trail at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center on Friday morning in Traverse City. The trail, which has been mowed short and marked with pink flags, runs approximately a mile along the outside of the paved trail, and is being developed by the civic center, Traverse City Track Club and Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation Trails (TART) as a softer surface alternative to the paved trail.
