Frank Simpkins uses a net to catch a sucker as he and other volunteers move about 15 fish and their aquariums at the Inland Seas Education Center on Wednesday in preparation to replace the carpet inside the center, which was damaged when a pump broke. Exhibits inside the center will also be updated, and the three current fish tanks will be replaced with two tanks, while a touch tank and turtle terrarium will remain the same. The center remains open during the preparation, but they expect to close next week for a week for the carpet installation.
