Rose Mary Nelson talks with a guest during Thursday's Crawford AuSable Thanksgiving Dinner, in which volunteers prepare a meal in a mess hall at the Michigan National Guard Grayling Army Airfield. The event, started twenty seven years ago with 100 people being served, and now has over 700 meals delivered in Crawford County as well as over 300 served on site.
