Dexter Smith, 11, rakes beach debris as he and other Old Mission Peninsula School students clean up around Mission Point Lighthouse on Friday morning at the tip of the Old Mission Peninsula. The work was done as part of the Better World Day of service projects done by charter schools such as Old Mission Peninsula School in the EL Education curriculum program.
