LET'S GO FLY A KITE

Shalini Augenstein, 17, launches her kite at the Open Space in Traverse City during Saturday's "Let's Go Fly a Kite," fundraiser for the Traverse City West choir, who's members are raising money for next year's trip to Italy. Each student collected pledges for the number of kites that were flown at the event, including ones participants could purchase on site.
