John Plough swims laps on Tuesday at Easling Pool inside the Grand Traverse County Civic Center. Friends of Easling Pool hit their $625,000 fundraising goal last week to fund improvements, including the sanitation system, air handling equipment, pool liner and decking. A second fundraising phase will begin to fund locker room and restroom renovations.
