Taylor Weckstein works on her homework after school at her home. Weckstein founded the nonprofit G1FT, or Giving 1 Family at a Time, when she was 12. The organization identifies and helps at-risk poverty level families transition out of poverty. Over the past six years she has raised over $50,000 and has received $30,000 in donated goods and services from local businesses for her work.
