Marlee Goetz, 6, and her mother Renee Goetz tape boxes together as they help Girl Scout Troop 10037 and a host of volunteers pack about 1,500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to send to military forces overseas on Sunday at American Legion Bowen-Holliday Post 35 in Traverse City. This was the ninth packing party organized by Amanda Allen and her sister Meredith Allen before her, totaling 12,500 boxes.
