KIDS FREE FISHING DAY

Edith Wiedenhoeft, 3, watches her father, Paul Wiedenhoeft, hold the rainbow trout she caught during the 11th annual Kids Free Fishing day on Saturday in the harbor of Northwestern Michigan College's Great Lakes Campus in Traverse City. Children had the chance to use provided gear to fish for 750 rainbow trout purchased by the Traverse Rotary Clubs planted in an enclosure, with volunteers from the Grand Traverse Area Sport Fishing Association on hand to clean the fish to take home.
