Spec Kids Garden

Cadence Irish, left, and Ali Coffinger, right, plant a vegetable while at the Grand Traverse Children's Garden behind the Woodmere Library in Traverse City. Irish and Coffinger are two of many kids participating in Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation summer camp. Each Thursday the group comes to tend the plants, which consist of beans, carrots, tomatoes, watermelon, kale and more.
