Charlie Hall of Team Elmer's walks past a hose carrying water pumped around the section of a Kids Creek tributary he and a crew from Team Elmer's is working on by the Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City. The work is being through a partnership between the Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay, Grand Traverse Pavilions, and the contractor, Team ElmerÕs, and will include increasing the size of the flood plain, building a 20- to 30-foot buffer, planting 65 trees and replacing two culverts. Funding comes from a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative grant for Kids Creek.
