FISH SURVEY
Volunteers measure a smallmouth bass caught in a 50-foot seine net they dragged along stretches of Grand Traverse Bay as they helped the Cerulean Center, Inland Seas Education Association and Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy sample fish at Antrim Creek Natural Area near Atwood as part of the Great Lakes Naturalist program. The program, which will take place over 2019 and 2020, aims to build a better understanding of the fish species that live in Grand Traverse Bay, and is funded by a grant from Rotary Charities of Traverse City. Fish were measured and photographed before being released.
