IRON WORKS DEMOLITION

Crews work on the demolition of the former East Jordan Iron Works foundry in East Jordan. The project, which began in the fall, is expected to take as much as a year on the over 130 year-old site, which has been vacant for several years since being replaced by a new facility under the company’s new name, EJ, about 14 miles away near the intersection of U.S. 31 and M-32.
