Bob Holmes, the "One Man Volleyball Team," watches as Grand Traverse Academy student David Werner hits the ball while facing Holmes with his classmates during an assembly on Wednesday. Holmes faced members of the girls volleyball team, a team of over a dozen boys and a team of school faculty in three games. Holmes won all three games before sharing his messages of never giving up, encouraging others and looking ahead as well as avoiding the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
