Scott Turner, left, and his nephew Eric Turner get a close look as wind gusts as high as 36 miles per hour blow spray from waves over the break wall at the Open Space in Traverse City. Waves were as high as seven feet in Grand Traverse Bay with the strong winds out of the north. "You don't see waves like this that often," said Scott Turner. "It makes me feel like back home in Florida, of course the icicles give it away."
