Ice skaters skate during an open skate at Howe Arena hosted by the Traverse City Figure Skating Club to celebrate National Skating Month. Free rentals and ice time were offered during the event as well as ice skate tying and fitting tips and basic lessons given by Traverse City Figure Skating Club members and instructors. The event is also scheduled to take place Saturday, February 8.
