Constancio Salmeron, along with others, gathers frozen grapes Wednesday during the ice wine harvest at Chateau Chantal on Old Mission Peninsula. Grapes must be frozen on the vine for about 24 hours at temperatures between 15-18 degrees Fahrenheit in order to make ice wine.
