A sold-out crowd gets a first hand view of Ned the Saw Whet Owl from Rebecca Lessard, founder and executive director of Wings of Wonder, during the Evening with the Owls event at the Boardman River Nature Center on Saturday. Ned is a permanently injured rescue that, even though he cannot fly long enough to survive in the wild, Lessard said they now use him to teach young Saw Whet Owls how to hunt.
