Village Ambassador Krystal Fluette hangs lights with fellow ambassador Kate Angove (not pictured) and High Five Threads owner Byron Pettigrew (not pictured) in a tree on the front lawn of the Village at Grand Traverse Commons on Friday afternoon in Traverse City. The lights were left over from the Village's tree in front of Building 50, which Pettigrew purchased lights for this year. "Everybody needs some more Christmas cheer," said Fluette. The tree in front of Building 50 was lit Friday evening to kick off the Commons' "Christmas in the Village," celebration.
