Crews work on the new Northland Food Center gas station in Kingsley. Located west of its current location on M-113, Northland Food Center owner Michael Ascione said the new gas station will have 10 fueling stations at five pumps and a 3,500-square-foot store. Six of the 10 fueling stations will offer diesel fuel. Currently two diesel fueling stations are available at the Northland gas station. Plans call for the Northland Food Center to expand into the current gas station space when the new fueling facility is completed by the end of September, said general contractor Dave Soper of Construction by Soper. Soper said Team Elmer’s, Alpine Electric and Sheren Plumbing and Heating are working on the project.
