Reece Bible, 7, of Traverse City eats pizza surrounded by crops of the Grand Traverse Children's Garden during the garden's Awards Night on Thursday in Traverse City. The event featured pizza, ice cream and treats; music, and awards and recognitions for groups involved with the garden, including Volunteer of the Year Marc Askew. The event was dedicated to the garden's founder, Susan Kuschell, who died in May.
