Isaac Vanderwal marches with others in Thursday's Take Back the Night rally and march in Traverse City. The event, organized by the Northwestern Michigan College Voices student group, is part of a worldwide movement to support and empower survivors of sexual assault and to spread awareness of the issue. Participants marched a little over a mile from West Hall on NMC's main campus to the Hagerty Center of the school's Great Lakes Campus, for music, poetry and the speak out, a chance for survivors to share their voices and experiences with sexual assault.
