Gus Sluiter, 4, of Traverse City watches docents Dorothy Grow, left, and Irene Cotter place his creations on the "Mile of the Nile," interactive art project at the Dennos Museum Center in Traverse City. Children could make river-inspired decorations from supplied materials to place on string and wrap around a column in the museum's lobby. The activity was part of the museum's DRAW NoMI family programming series, and held in conjunction with the "TUTANKHAMUN: 'Wonderful Things' from the PharaohÕs Tomb," exhibition, which runs through May 6.
