Mancelona's Corbin Starkey, 17, prepares a robot to navigate an obstacle course for a stockbot coding competition during Friday's IT Olympics. The day-long event, in its second year, connected students from the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District's Career-Tech Center with NMC students to learn and compete in a number of technical skills. Students from high schools across Northwest Michigan competed in categories such as network, security and website design and robot programming.
