EASTERN ELEMENTARY FOOD SURVEY

A sheet tallies protein waste, such as hot dogs or lunch meat, collected by Eastern Elementary School fourth and fifth graders, who are working with Food Rescue to conduct a food waste survey April 6 and 7 by separating trash in the school cafeteria. Fourth and fifth graders at the school separate lunch leftovers into categories such as protein, vegetables and dairy, which will later be weighed to see how much food goes to waste.
