MANITOU MASTS

Owner and CaptainDave McGinnis and the crew of the Tall Ship Manitou install the ship's 76-foot masts on Monday at the Discovery Pier in Traverse City. The masts were removed last fall to redo the decks and bowsprit on the 114-foot replica of an 1800s cargo schooner that is operated by the Traverse Tall Ship Company.
