A fisherman wades along the chanel at the mouth of the Boardman River where it enters West Bay. Ice still cloggs the beachfront along the south end of the bay more than a month after the first day of spring. Forecasters for the National Weather Service predict overnight low temperatures at or below the freezing mark for at least the next week.
