Pink curly hair lands at Principal Shawn Walbecq's feet at Suttons Bay Public Schools on Thursday. Walbecq promised to shave his head into a pink mohawk after they met their goal of reading 1,000 books in the month of March. Students from preschool through fifth grade read 1,093 books.
