Principal Shawn Walbecq has his head shaved by students at Suttons Bay Public Schools on Thursday. Walbecq promised to shave his head into a pink mohawk after the elementary students met their goal of reading 1,000 books in the month of March. Students from preschool through fifth grade read 1,093 books total. The top readers from each grade were able to help shave his head on stage.
