First Financial Bank N.A. based in Hamilton, Ohio took over operations of the former Irwin Union Bank and Trust Co. in Traverse City located in the Harbour View Centre building along Grandview Parkway. It was among 27 Irwin Union locations around the country taken over by First Financial this month after state and federal regulators closed two Irwin Union subsidiaries, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Randy Williams remains as market president for the Traverse City First Financial Bank branch.
