Construction is under way on a major expansion of the Autos Owners Insurance along Hammond Road in East Bay Township. The Lansing-based insurance company is constructing a 32,000-square-foot, partially underground addition to bring its data mangement services in house. The estimated development cost is $15 to $20 million, company officials said.
