Several dozen cyclists rode through Traverse City during Wednesday's Ride of Silence, an event that takes place in over 320 communities during National Bike Safety Month to honor cyclists who have been injured or killed while riding on public roadways. The event, sponsored by The Cherry Capital Cycling Club and TART, began at the former railroad depot near Woodmere and Eighth streets and rode in silence along city streets.
