Sabin Elementary School will house the Traverse City Area Public Schools Data Center. The school gymnasium, at right, will be renovated for a 4,400 square foot center for control equipment, servers, racks, switches and network gear to communicate with and operate equipment in all the schools, and a 1,800 square foot addition which will house an electrical/mechanical room to support the operations. Construction is scheduled for completion in April 2011, with the network crossover that June.
