State Street Grille, a new sports lounge and restaurant in the former home of the Kahootz sports bar, opened at 221 E. State St. in downtown Traverse City this weekend. Executive Chef Jeff Davies said the smoke-free restaurant will open daily at 11 a.m. and features a wide-ranging menu plus plenty of action on seven 50-inch plasma TVs throughout the business.
