John Green and Jessica Coakes celebrate their half-marathon finish, and their engagement that happened near the finish line in Saturday's Bayshore Marathon in Traverse City. The two are track coaches at Battle Creek Penfield. Green said he carried the ring in his shorts pocket for the entire race.
