Volunteers helped staff members with the Grand Traverse Conservation District transplant native species from an area next to the Boardman River in the Brown Bridge Quiet Area that will become a one to one-and-a-half acre open water wetland as part of a wetlands enhancement project in the area upstream from the former Brown Bridge Dam.
