FRONT STREET CLOSURE
From left, The Traverse City Downtown Development Authority's Harry Burkholder, Gerry Moeggenberg, Jim Gaskin, Nick Viox, Nicole VanNess and Jean Derenzy place barriers closing two blocks of Front Street, from Park Street to Union Street, to vehicular traffic on Monday morning. The temporary barriers will allow pedestrian traffic as well as expanded seating and sales space for business on that stretch of road. The barriers are scheduled to be removed after Labor Day.
