HONOR FLIGHT RETURNS

Patriot Guard member Polly Weaver helps pass out flags to the crowd gathered to greet Honor Flight travelers on their return to Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport on Thursday evening after a day in Washington, D.C. Nearly 300 people gathered at the airport to welcome 61 veterans back, along with the guardians that traveled with each veteran and other support staff. The flags were brought by the Grand Traverse Area Veterans Coalition.
