WALL COLLAPSE

Investigators walk past the construction scene where four people were injured when a brick wall collapsed just before 9 a.m. on a building under construction on East Front Street in downtown Traverse City. Traverse City police and fire departments and North Flight EMS responded to the scene, where two victims were partially covered in debris, and two less severely injured people were ambulatory. All four were transported to Munson Medical Center. Damage was incurred to a five story elevator staff on the site, which will be investigated to determine the cause and the extent of the damage.
