PHYSICALLY DISTANT, SOCIALLY CONNECTED BIRTHDAY
Ed Crippen laughs while talking to friends while celebrating his 76th birthday with a "physically distant, socially connected" birthday party on his Traverse City cul-de-sac on Monday. Attendees were asked to keep their distance from each other, following guidelines to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, using markings on the pavement at 6-foot intervals or using hockey sticks as distance guides.
