PHYSICALLY DISTANT, SOCIALLY CONNECTED BIRTHDAY
Guests use markings on the street measured by Fran Alfs for her husband, Ed Crippen's "physically distant, socially connected" 76th birthday party on their Traverse City cul-de-sac on Monday. Attendees were asked to keep their distance from each other, following guidelines to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, using markings on the pavement at 6-foot intervals or using hockey sticks as distance guides.
