FENCING AWARDS

Claire Norconk, left, won gold and Laurie Lapp took bronze medals at the USA Fencing national championships in Philadelphia. Norconk won the Division 3 national title in women's epee, while Lapp took third place for bronze in women's epee in the Veterans 50 category.
