Phil Jewell, a recreational specialist for the city of Traverse City, grows icicles in his hair while helping skiers out of the slush cup pond during Saturday's annual Hickory Hills Fun Day in Traverse City. Other events in addition to the slush cup included alpine disc golf, rope races and food and prizes.
