A United State Marine Honor Guard receives the body of Sgt. Justin Hansen, a 26 year-old Kingsley native who was killed while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan July 24. Sgt. Hansen was carried in a 2009 Tombstone Hearse and Harley Davidson Road King Conversion, volunteered for service by Jay Howard and David Censke of Battle Creek A procession, led by a Marine on Sgt. Hansen's custom Harley Davidson motorcycle, took his body from Cherry Capitol Airport to Kingsley. Hansen’s visitation and funeral will be at Kingsley High School today. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Following the funeral service, a procession will head to Memorial Gardens off Veterans Drive in Garfield Township. The procession will head west on M-113 to M-37, north on M-37 to Fourteenth Street, right on Fourteenth Street to Veterans Drive and south on Veterans Drive to Memorial Gardens.
