Rare Air Fest 2010: Jan. 17, 2010
Skiers and boarders rocked Mt. Holiday Saturday at Rare Air Fest 2010. The daylong concert and big air competition featured snowboarders and skiers launching off six-foot jumps with 20-foot drops, as they twisted through the air to the sounds of six live bands. Each contestant had three runs down the slope. Judges rated each jump on the difficulty of the trick, landing and overall style. Competitors could take home a new snowboard, skis, clothing or ski apparel.
