Traverse City West Senior High hosted the second annual Trashion fashion show Friday evening in the school commons. The fashion show featured wearable art designs created by students from 10 area high schools. The 70 outfits on display were created using a multitude of recyclable and alternative materials.

Elk Rapids student Mimi Nichol models a dress made entirely of Diet Coke 2-liter labels, along with a Coke bottle cap necklace. The dress, created by West student Kristi Weighman, won third place at the Trashion fashion show.
